SIR, YOU NOW HAVE 31 DAYS UNTIL NAVY BEATS ARMY IN FOOTBALL, SIR!

  • Click Here to sign up!
  • Date and Time: 11 December 2021, 1:00 PM EST
  • Location: Detroit Yacht Club, 1 Riverbank Dr Detroit, MI 48207
  • Description:

As hosts of this year’s annual event, the Naval Academy Alumni Association is going big to make up for the missed year. We’ve secured the iconic Detroit Yacht Club, and we’re gunning for some top-notch turnout. With a classic game-time menu, an open-bar option, and a “kids room” with a babysitter, there’s something for everyone.

In addition this year, the Detroit Chapter and West Point Society of Michigan are teaming up to raise money for the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that raises money to support Gold Star families across all service branches. For more details, check out www.fallenpatriots.org or our donation page at https://donate.fallenpatriots.org/team/391391.

If there’s one event you come out for this year, make this the one! Prices go up to $40 at the door, so be sure to RSVP by December 3rd to guarantee your spot!

Finally – be sure to check the ticket options — there is a free “add-on” where you can express interest in a Party Bus operated by our social lead, Mike Drooglever (’05), who will contact members directly if (a) there is enough interest and (b) your location works to make a reasonable route to/from the event.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

As always, BEAT ARMY!

Meet up with local Michigan Naval Academy Alumni to reminisce about the old days or chat about what’s new. The Naval Academy Alumni Association Detroit Chapter, in conjunction with the Marine For Life Network and the Detroit Veteran’s Beer Club (VBC), is inviting you to network with fellow veterans and alumni while celebrating the birth of the Corps.

The evening begins with opening remarks from SgtMaj Carlton W. Kent, 16th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, followed by the playing of the Commandant’s Birthday Message and a cake cutting ceremony.

An event at Vivio’s in Warren is always a great opportunity to get to know fellow veterans from the Detroit area over a cold drink. We hope to see you there!
